An Introduction to Astrology: Sunday 12th October '08 10am - 4pm £40.00
- the Art and the Science. This ancient system of plotting the movement of planets and analysing their influence upon life on Earth is covered in easy to understand terms. This workshop is not about ‘fortune telling’ but about how to interpret the ‘blue print’ that is your birth chart; the charted position of the planets at the precise moment you were born. With this ‘blue print’ of information you are forewarned of any possible obstacles and able to take action to avoid them.
We will look at how a Natal Birth chart is cast, the different ‘houses’ of the chart, the aspects and the influence of the planets depending on where they ‘fall’ in your birth chart. The significance of your Ascendant sign and the traditional characteristics of each of the 3 x Fire, Water, Earth and Air zodiac signs. Gemstones and the traditional colours etc., associated with your birth sign. (Includes lunch and your own Birth Chart and printed interpretation). 1 Day course is = 5 CPPD Points* An attendance certificate will be issued
Understanding 'Witchcraft' Sunday 26th October '08 10am-4pm £30.00
A brief insight into the origins, beliefs and traditions of Paganism and the practices of folk magic. This course hopes to dispel some of the misconceptions surrounding 'Witchcraft' and promote a better understanding and acceptance of this ancient, nature based alternative religion.
We will look at a brief history of Witchcraft through the ages. What Witches believe and the rules they live by, the ancient Goddess & Gods – who are they? The Pagan calendar and celebrations, Magical tools, symbols and Spell casting. What goddess type are you?Connect with the goddess (or god) within. Everything you always wanted to know, but were afraid to ask!
N.B. Whilst possibly being considered contraversial by some this course is intended to be both informative and fun. Price includes Halloween themed lunch.
1 Day course is = 5 CPPD Points* An attendance certificate will be issued
* CPPD (or CPD) Points 'Continuing Personal and Professional Development' - part of the criteria for joining the Regulatory Council Register. If you are a therapist you may be required by certain associations that you belong to, such as the FHT to obtain CPPD points (10 points per year) - this will be compulsory from 2008.

Offering healing treatments to the public - How to set up a practice, insurance requirements and professional conduct. YOD attunement is offered at this level. Course is = 5 CPPD Points*
Reiki & Seichem Level lll ‘A Way of Life’ - At this ‘Master’ practitioner level you will be attuned to the Master symbol yourself, and be taught additional healing symbols and how to use them, you will receive a powerful meditation, learn how to recognise and work with your spirit guides, you will also be shown how to construct a Reiki grid and pyramid of light and be offered the further attunement of The Order of Melcheizdek.
At the ‘Master’ teacher level - the student is taught how to instruct others and how to clear and give the attunements to others: You will be given a meditation that harmonises the energy of the chakras and be taught the special breathing techniques required during the giving of attunements. We will discuss the values and attitudes for success as a Tera-Mai Master/Teacher. I offer this Master level lll (Practitioner and Teacher) instruction, either on 2 separate days or as an intensive, weekend training. N.B. Accommodation will be included if you choose the intensive weekend training option. Course is = 5 CPPD Points*
