Directions: From Junction 36 of the M6, Ulverston is exactly 25 miles on the A590 Barrow Road. Approach Ulverston on A590 (you will see the Hoad Monument Lighthouse on the hill on your right) on A590 - go straight ahead at 1st roundabout (which has Booths Supermarket on left) and again straight ahead at pedestrian lights.  At next large roundabout take 4th exit down Brewery Street Car park on left and Hartley's Brewery on right (park here for 'Willow' which is situated on Market Street opposite the Lloyds/TSB Bank).

N.B. There is a regular train service to Ulverston from the north, Lancaster and Manchester.

The Therapist:  Julia is a mature, conscientious and proficient, Complementary Therapist, Tutor and Level 3 Reiki & Seichem Master Practitioner &Teacher. She ran a successful Holistic Therapy Practice in Sandbach, Cheshire before moving recently to her new life in Ulverston with husband Joe where they run 'Willow' a New Age gift shop together.

With excellent practical abilities and good interpersonal and communication skills, Julia is a sensitive and empathic, natural healer.  Fully qualified, highly professional, honest, friendly and reliable.  Her interests include traditional folk and folk/rock music; painting; all sorts of arts and crafts; walking; nature and the countryside. Joe and Julia also have five children, two grandchildren, a dog and two cats to keep them busy, not to mention the extensive renovation work on their new cottage!

Consultation: Before selecting your therapy, and to ensure that there are no contra-indications, a free full consultation will be carried out and a treatment plan will be designed to meet your individual needs. As part of this consultation, details of your medical history will be required.  In some cases it may be necessary to obtain, with your permission, consent from your G.P. to begin certain therapy treatments.  All treatments will be carried out by a fully qualified Holistic Therapist.

For your first treatment please allow an additional 15-20 minutes for your free consultation.  Being on time for your appointment is much appreciated.

Cancellations: If you need to cancel your appointment, where possible, please give at least 24 hours notice. 

Hygiene: For your comfort it is advisable that clients bath or shower before a massage treatment. Customer modesty is maintained at all times. 

Children:  Under 16's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

N.B.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone who presents for a therapy session whilst under the influence of alcohol/drugs or whose behaviour and manner we deem to be threatening or offensive.

Discounts: A Discount is offered on a any course of three or more treatments that are booked and paid for in advance.  Look out for special offers.

Payments:  Please make all cheques payable to 'Willow' (I will need to see your bank card number).   All major credit cards and 'Switch' payments are accepted for goods and therapies at 'Willow'. Payments for items and training courses/workshops etc from the on-line shop are through Paypal which does of course accept all major credit and debit cards.
